We specialize in formulating custom micronutrient premixes used in the fortification of rice, flour, oil, and other staples. These blends include essential vitamins and minerals such as Iron, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, and others, tailored to meet FSSAI guidelines and customer-specific nutritional targets. Our formulations are produced using high-grade raw materials, backed by in-house R&D and strict quality controls to ensure stability, safety, and bioavailability of nutrients in every batch. A dough is prepared using rice flour, micronutrient premix, and water. This dough is then hot-extruded using a screw extruder. The extrusion process forms the dough into granules that resemble natural rice kernels. These granules are processed at 70–110°C through pre-conditioning and/or via heat transfer in steam-heated barrel jackets. This results in fully or partially pre-cooked, simulated rice-like granules, also known as pre-blended granules (a mixture of rice flour and premix). These pre-blended granules are then blended with natural polished rice to produce Fortified Rice Kernels (FRK). Finally, the FRK is transferred from bulk storage to packaging.
